Johnson Controls uses ingenuity to make buildings, homes and cars more safe, efficient and comfortable. When they needed help recruiting creative thinkers and engineers, the solution was a no-brainer. I worked with Fallon and Colossal Squid Industries, creating proprietary games to give prospective talent a memorable challenge.
Most popular of the games was Coconut Run, which gained a cult-like following and spawned hundreds of YouTube videos featuring a variety of player creations. Over the course of the “Ingenuity Welcome” campaign, the site received 30 million page views averaging 17 minutes per visit.
